Lokesh: We do pure design projects like identity and brand and communication design. We also create illustrations for brands, advertising agencies for campaigns, and also consult brands for their illustration requirements.
Lokesh: Managing time and money and keeping a correct balance of both in a city like Mumbai is challenging. As an independent studio its very important to take up work you really love and like to do. Creating balance between creatively satisfying commercial projects and your personal body of work is challenging.
Lokesh: A brand design project we worked on for a Indian Bistro based in Chicago called Mango Pickle. Its our one of the favourite projects from last year because of the pure and simple final output of the project. The Identity design is inspired from a graphic form of a mango with a simple typeface. The project will be on our website soon.
Lokesh: As an illustration studio Locopopo does illustrative products to celebrate various themes and styles inspired from local Indian topics. For example, series of badges on freedom fighters remind us about the great revolutionaries of the Indian independence movement. Series of hot and daily badges is a graphic take on amazing daily local things and inspirations.
